Webinar Series on Wetland Research and Innovation Launches This November!

The Horizon Europe Sister Projects ALFAwetlandsRESTORE4CsREWET, and WET HORIZONS are proud to announce the launch of “Wetlands in Action”, a dynamic series of expert-led webinars showcasing the latest in wetland science, innovation, and cross-project collaboration.

Running from November 2025 to April 2026, this unique webinar series brings together leading voices in European wetland research for a deep dive into cutting-edge developments in conservationdata collectionstakeholder engagementsustainable management, and policy. Each of the up to 60-minute sessions will feature concise presentations followed by an open Q&A, creating a platform for meaningful exchange and networking among professionals across disciplines.

The webinars reflect the powerful synergies created by the collaboration between the four projects, each contributing unique perspectives, methodologies, and case studies to support evidence-based solutions for wetland restoration and resilience. 

The European Chapter of the Society of Wetland Scientists (SWS) will also join the series, offering valuable insights into global opportunities for scientific collaboration and support within the wetland research community.
