ALFAwetlands was introduced to wider audience for the first time in connection of ‘Soil science days’ in Finland. The ‘Soil science days’ are organised every second year, this year 10 – 11 January 2023 in Helsinki by Finnish Society of Soil Sciences.
There were about 100 participants, representing people from students to researchers (e.g. university, research organizations) and to people who are generally interested in soil related issues. The special theme of this year days was ‘Security of supply starts from the soil’, but there were presentations from different subjects as long as they had connection to the soil.
ALFAwetlands poster was presented in Finnish language, but abstract was written in English. People were very interested about our projects and are looking forward to seeing the results.
