Efficiency of innovative ecosystem scale restoration practices
“Efficiency of innovative ecosystem scale restoration practices” is the largest ALFAwetlands´Work Packages and is led by the University of Tartu from Estonia. This work includes development of a harmonised methodology for measuring and interpreting GHG fluxes, C-stock change, response of biodiversity and ecosystem servicies, and supporting environmental variables, as well as remote sensing of environmental parameters, role of microbial communities in restored wetlands and a lot of other important research tasks. Of course, field activities at different Living Labs sites and obtaining experimental data support this research.
